Maybe it's just me, but this pisses me off...especially the day they chose to show it on.

FINAL SOLUTION This award-winnning documentary is a study of the politics of hate. Set in Gujarat during the period February/March 2002 - July 2003, the film examines the consequences of Hindu-Muslim polarization in the state.
Dir: Rakesh Sharma, 2004, India, 145 min*
"Pride and Genocide" deals with the genocidal violence against Muslims and its immediate aftermath, that many claim was state-supported. "The Terror Trail" contrasts the barbaric acts of violence against Muslim women at Panchmahals with Chief Minister Modi's safe travels safely through the state. "The Hate Mandate" documents how right-wing activists exploited the Godhra incident (in which 58 Hindus were burnt alive) for electoral gains during the Assembly elections in Gujarat in late 2002. "Hope and Despair" studies the situation after the storm and its impact on Hindus and Muslims' ghettoisation, and continuing acts of violence more than a year after the carnage.
