We made our annual New Year's Day trek out to the Tanger Outlets in Riverhead, NY. For those unclear, it's the last stop on the LIE. The last stop. As one exits, one can see where they stopped paving, and earth exists. Kind of cool.

With an AAA card or $5, you can get a coupon book with discounts for most of the stores (though most have minimum purchase requirements). Anyways, I checked online and found a place on their site where you can fill out a survey and print a coupon to pick up one of the coupon books without an AAA card or $5.

We picked up the coupon book, and though it wasn't too useful overall (we saved a few bucks here and there), it really paid off in the Baby Gap where we got some maternity clothes and baby gifts, mostly on clearance, plus an additional 15% off with the coupon. At the end of the day, the savings from the coupon book almost certainly covered the gas, and a bit more.
