Free Fruit Leather
The makers of Fruit Leather, Strecth Island, have been giving away 50 each day for as long as I can remember. However, I have never succeeded in hitting their website at exactly the right time (e.g. before everyone else). However, today, as I was cleaning up some of my bookmarks, I found the link to the site, and was actually able to submit a request. If you want to try, go for it!
It's funny to note that the "Original" 9 flavors are kosher, but the 4 "Organic" are not. And I'm not the only one to point it out. From their own website:
How is Organic different from Kosher ?
“Organically grown” refers to the farming methods used to grow the fruit we use in Stretch Island Organic Fruit Leathers.
Kosher is something entirely different; it means that all the ingredients used to make a product have been approved by a Kosher Organization. In our case, we have been Kosher certified by the Organized Kashruth Laboratories. This, however, applies ONLY to Stretch Island Fruit Original Fruit Leather.
All the ingredients used to make Stretch Island Organic Fruit Leathers are 100% Organic but not Kosher Certified.
