DSW Lawsuit in the Making

I was in DSW yesterday, and decided to try on a pair of shoes. I took the right shoe out of the box, inserted my foot, and encountered a sharp tack (probably from their anti-theft gizmos). It hurt! A lot! Though I didn't really break skin (no bleeding), it did leave a red mark. I went to complain to the management, and they took a report (including a picture of my foot) and gave me a coupon for 20% off my next purchase, which had an expiration of 12/31/03! Great, a 4-day coupon! I laughed at the guy, so he crossed that part out.

It seems I can walk OK today, so I probably won't sue.

Phil has been spreading this story aroung YU. I think if you add in some more details, it might be even more gripping. My suspicion is that you bring tacks with you to shoe stores for free coupons :)
